The shipping costs of most items to a US address will be $5 - $7.  Some small paper items and books can be shipped for only about $2.  I ship most magazine ads in a tube for about $2.00.  Not including insurance
Because the cost of shipping several items is usually only slightly more than shipping a single item, Deco Dog's Ephemera prefers to keep prices down by charging the customer only for the actual costs of shipping, handling, and insurance.  Deco Dog's Ephemera believes this
policy is preferable to including an arbitrary fee within the price of each item to cover costs.  HOWEVER, THE POLICY MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE SITE TO HAVE A SHOPPING CART OR TO GIVE YOU AN IMMEDIATE SHIPPING COST.  I have to weigh and figure the shipping costs for each package.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

There is a 1% (minimum $1.00) handling fee for international orders.

Pennsylvania and New York State residents without a valid tax certificate must pay a state sales tax of 6% and 8%, respectively.

PAYMENT

Payments may be made in the form of a good check or a money order.  Deco Dog's Ephemera now takes Visa and Mastercard payments through PayPal for orders over $10.00.

If the payment is by money order or PayPal with a confirmed address, the item(s) will be shipped the next day.  If payment is through PayPal with an unconfirmed address, i reserve the right to delay shipment for 5 business days.  If payment is by check, the item will be shipped in ten business days to give the check time to clear.

RETURNS
Deco Dog's Ephemera goes to great pains to accurately describe each item and its condition.  Therefore, returns will only be accepted if the description or the condition of the item was misreported.   To request a return, please follow these guidelines:

1.  Email me with your request the day you receive the item.
2.  Return within five business days
3.  Use the same method of delivery that was originally used to send you the item.  (if original shipping was by Priority mail, returns can be free if the box is not damaged too much)
4.  Deco Dog's security sticker or mark must still be in place for the return to be accepted.  Deco Dog's Ephemera guarantees that the sticker will never hide any damage nor cause any damage.
5.  A refund will be issued upon receipt of an item, provided it is in the same condition it was sent. 
6.  Deco Dog's Ephemera reserves the right to refuse a refund if an item is not returned promptly, or  the item is not securely packaged or insured.

Because I cannot automatically generate the shipping cost on this site before you order, sending in my order form does not put you under any obligation to purchase.  Please feel free to order knowing that you can cancel the order after you have received notification the shipping costs.

ORDERING PROCEDURES

PLEASE FILL OUT THE ORDER FORM BELOW.  After I receive your order, I will email or call you within three days to confirm your order and to arrange shipping.  Because email isn't always reliable, I suggest that you email the order a second time if I do not respond within the three days.  I usually only call if there is something complicated I need to add to the description of the item.  If you do not want me to call you, please note that preference with your order and we can continue to correspond by email. 
Availability of items is subject to prior sales.  I will hold items for ten days pending receipt of payment from the customer.  At the end of this period, the item will be put back into inventory.  Sometimes, for regular customers who specifically request it, I hold items longer until they find several items to be shipped at one time.
