RICH
COLORED 1924 CREAM OF WHEAT AD, From Sunrise to Twilight, showing
Rastus serving breakfast to a grandmother and curly blonde baby, illustration
by Edward Brewer, 11" x 14", fine condition with some edge wear - including
a 1/2" tear on the bottom edge, a small hole on the right margin, some
light soiling on the bottom margin, 2 light horizontal creases, and one
heavier horizontal crease through the center (magazine was folded in 1/4),
it all sounds worse than it looks as this ad still looks great and most
of the minor defects can be framed or cropped out #BA27781

SCARCE
KLUMPE BLACK MEMORABILIA GOLF CADDY DOLL with original label and original
tag. I do not know his exact age, but I think he is from the 1950's.
If anyone knows more, please let me know. This caddy doll is a great
Black Memorabilia collectors' piece. He is very much a stereotype
with his exaggerated large lips, cigarette and slouching. Not many
of the collectible Klumpe dolls were Black Memorabilia pieces. Klumpe
dolls are stuffed felt over wire made in Spain. The faces are some
sort of hard composition with, I believe, handpainted features. The
eyes are applied glass or plastic. His shirt looks to be cotton.
His pants and hat look to be wool. I think everything else is felt
or yarn. He can stand on his own, but like all Klumpes -- it is not
a sturdy stand. He has his original Klumpe tag as well as original
price tag. He came from an estate of non-smokers and he was stored
in a glass front library bookshelf (no attic or cellar smells for him).
He is 11" tall. Based on other items in the estate, I think he might
be a souvenir from Pinehurst in South Carolina, but I have no proof of
it.
He is in very
good to excellent condition. He is not at all faded nor does he have
any damage to the doll. There is no fading or soiling. I do
not see any defects except for the woolie moth holes in his pants.
He has 4 of them total. 2 on the back of his pants as shown below,
then one very tiny one next to his left pocket and another small one (smaller
than either of the 2 shown) on the inside of the crotch of the pants.

(for Walt Disney Productions) in lower left corner, 8" x 11 1/4", fine
condition with a small (not tiny) stray mark from the printing process

the scan), the spot can be cropped, matted or framed out but a little bit
of the smear comes close to the printed area of the ad, that part of it
is so light that it does not detract significantly #DSY26080

some wear on the frame, there is a line going through the matte, but I
