CHROME
ART DECO BOSTONIAN HUMIDOR, BY ROBBINS, CO., Attleboro, Mass., 1940's?,
it has a hammered look, inside the top is a dial that opens and closes
something, but I am not certain of its function because it doesn't open
to the outside, the handles are black bakelite with art deco styling, about
8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" in diameter, the condition is very good, it
has some fine scratching on the chrome #HUM3
$25.00 .....

section of chrome missing from the handle #DC25339

1950's
- '60's FIRE EXTINGUISHER DECANTER/MUSIC BOX, wind-up plays "How Dry I
Am" when you pick it up, under extinguisher top handle is a plastic lined
chrome pour spout, this is not a shaker, 11 7/8" high by 3 1/2" in diameter,
metal outer case surrounded with red vinyl (more of a true red than my
photo shows), glass interior to hold liquid, red reads "Thirst Extinguisher,
Dispense freely for best results, To refill call your host, Approved by
underwriters fire chief, Keep available for emergencies" in metallic silver
lettering, very good condition, plays well, a couple of light scuffs on
the red, some wear on the lettering including the "F" in Freely is missing
part of the letter
and the last "L" in Refill is mostly missing; Plus oddly (although
it is not really obvious), there is no space between the "l" and the "y"
in "Call Your Host" and #25411
$22.00
SIMILAR TO ABOVE
IN BLACK, looks the same as above except that it is black instead of red,
it has a cork stopper instead of a plastic one so I thin it is older, excellent
condition with some mild wear on the outside vinyl, no spacing error
#25411 $28.00

CHROME
HAIR DRYER AND STAND, both marked "made in the USA, Handy Industries,
Inc., Racine, Wis."; I have no idea of its age except that I think
it is old enough that asbestos could be an issue with it; works well;
has on/off switch and hot/cold switch; comes out of stand; stand has holes
to attach to wall; but is very stable sitting on a table; base and handle
are black plastic; good for nails, crafts, etc.; looks great with the chrome
and bullet shape; excellent condition, with a few scratches and the company
name partially obscured on the base #DC242543
