1940's
IVORY MccOY HOBNAIL FERNERY, 8" Lx
3 5/8" W AND
3 1/8" H, it has a satiny-gloss glaze, not signed McCoy, but I am certain
it is McCoy because it is shown on page 123 of the Huxford McCoy book and
page 75 of the Hanson, Nissen and Hanson book. There is an embossed
mark on the bottom, but I cannot make out anything but "USA", it also has
a hand incised mark under the glaze that looks to be "100/".
Excellent condition, one teeny, tiny spot of dark color under the glaze
(production error), an extremely light 1 1/4" hairline, a very small spot
on the inside that has crazing, but no discoloration. I do not think
it has ever been used. #MC25314 $25.00

1940'S
McCOY LILY BUD FLOWER BOWL IN MATTE IVORY, 6 1/2" X 9 1/2", signed "NM
CO.", very good condition with the usual McCoy production defects (glaze
pops and one tiny spot of misplaced color). It has considerable crazing,
but only one spot (inside the bowl) that has discolored. On the inside
of the side the crazing comes together to form a continuous 1 1/2" line
that is darker than the other crazing. Because this does not go through
to the other side of the bowl, I am not certain if you would call it a
hairline or not. It also has 3 very small nicks on the rim (one might
be a glaze pop). The bottom of the piece has scratches and light
wear. #MC25315 $20.00

art nouveau,
8 3/8", embossed
McCoy logo, vase is shown on page 133 of the Hanson, Nissen, Hanson book
vol.1. Very good condition, small amount of crazing on the rim and
no cracks. It has the usual McCoy production glaze pops. It has a
dark spot (production error) on the rim under the glaze on the side opposite
the side shown on the photo. That side of the rim also has several
glaze chips (very shallow chips that only go through the glaze and not
into the pottery itself ) #MC25316 $12.50
