1959
PENNWOOD DIGITAL NUMECHRON TYMETER TV CLOCK, model 700, works fine, but
makes low working noise, lights up, marbleized burgundy plastic casing
and cream plastic digits, 5 1/2" x 5" x 3 1/2", very good condition, casing
and crystal has some scratches and wear, small split on the crystal plastic
around the light on/off switch for the light, these are not uncommon,
but they are in great demand #25313
$85.00

Wonderful
modern Streamlined design 1940's TOASTSWELL #885 TOASTER, with black plastic
handles running vertically and shooting star decoration, works great, fine
condition with mild scratches here and there, but one deeper scratch on
each side, may be missing a covering for the light-dark knob but maybe
not as I am not certain what it is supposed to be like, crack on the plug
(will need to be reinforced at the very least - probably will need to be
replaced) looks much better than my poor photos #CHM27748
$45.00

1950's
GREEN ART DECO 8" WIZARD HUSKY" WESTERN AUTO SUPPLY CO. FAN, has
a hole so you can hang it on the wall, fan head position swivels, one speed,
no on-off switch (plugged in it goes, unplugged it does not - that was
how it was made - not that difficult to add toggle switches to the cord
though), excellent condition but needs some major cleaning, runs well but
makes a little bit of noise like the blades are barely nicking something,
the rungs to the cage are not 100% parallel but as none of them look bent,
I think that might be how it was made. Every fan of this kind I have
seen has that same unparallelness. Looks very cool, great deco base
#DC28829 $18.00....

CHROME
HAIR DRYER AND STAND, both marked "made in the USA, Handy Industries,
Inc., Racine, Wis."; I have no idea of its age except that I think
it is old enough that asbestos could be an issue with it; works well;
has on/off switch and hot/cold switch; comes out of stand; stand has holes
to attach to wall; but is very stable sitting on a table; base and handle
are black plastic; good for nails, crafts, etc.; looks great with the chrome
and bullet shape; excellent condition, with a few scratches and the company
name partially obscured on the base #DC242543

- "50's GE TOASTER 72T82, chrome is in outstanding condition with just
the most minor of faults, but one of the 3 heating elements does not heat
properly and the times doesn't work so it doesn't pop. Asking what

1940's
SUNBEAM MODEL 20B TOASTER WITH WORLD'S FAIR ART DECO DESIGN, extra wide
slice holes which accommodate bagels, toast lowers itself, works great,
very good condition with 2 repaired breaks at the feet on one side of the
toaster (they do not show up much and you can turn that side to the wall),
some of the glue from the repair is smeared on one end of the toaster,
also with mild scratches here and there - looks much better than my poor
photos and how it sounds #DC27749 $18.00
SIMILAR TO ABOVE
-- looks the same to me, except the cord is covered with black plastic
instead of the striped cloth, SUNBEAM MODEL T-20-C, looks great with very
little scratching and no pitting, UNFORTUNATELY, the automatic toast lowering
mechanism is not working, and without that part working it is impossible
to know if the toasting wires work #DC27749b

VINTAGE
SINGER 99-31 SEWING MACHINE WITH CASE, WORKS GREAT, considered a 3/4 size
machine, it is only slightly heavier than the featherweight machines, weighs
25 lbs with the case (most the weight is in the case), very portable and
great for quilting guild meetings, it is a low shank machine so it takes
the same attachments as the 221 featherweight, comes with original case,
4 bobbins, an instruction book and an extra pressure foot (skinny foot
with indents for the needle to go in and out of on both sides); the copyright
date on the instruction book is 1955 - I think that is the year the machine
was made as well; the machine has a light in the back and a black plastic
pedal, the serial number is AM263994, "99-" is on a gold and black plate
on the front of the machine, "Singer Manufacturing Company" is written
in gold across the to of the machine, "Simanco, Made in the U.S. A." is
embossed in the metal on the under side of the machine and is also written
on a plate on the bottom of the pedal; the condition of the machine is
excellent - the machine works well, the japanning is is bright and shiny
with some light scratching overall, the wheel has a few dings in the japanning,
the decals are near mint, the light works and is in great shape, the pedal
works and is in a great shape although it has some light overall scratching.
The instruction book has some wear and some staining but it is complete
and study enough for use. the carrying case is solid and strong for
carrying the sewing machine but it has some aesthetic defects as you can
see from my photos, also the paper on the inside of the case is a bit torn
and has some yellowing #APPL28044 $75.00
