1930's
- '40's FRAMED HAND-EMBROIDERED PEACOCK PICTURE, frame is gesso over
wood, off white with grey highlights on ridges of the frame, embroidery
work measures 17" x 20', outside frame measure 18 1/2" x 21 1/2", please
note that the needleperson had some composition problems as the bottom
flourish is not centered with the top flourish; excellent condition with
very slight wear on the frame, a couple of foxing (age) spots on the linen
background and a tiny dark spot on the linen which I think is a material
defect - it really does not detract much DC29031

PRETTY,
1920's - 30's ART DECO PINUP JIGSAW PUZZLE OF WOMAN AND PARROT
BY GENE PRESSLER, made by Mayfair Jig, I forgot to measure the puzzle when
I had it together - I think about 12" x 15", puzzle is complete in
original box, good condition with some wear on a the paper on a few of
the pieces, one piece has broken off inside another (because the connecting
piece was made extremely thin -- you can see this in my photo -- it is
one of the 4 pieces on the lower left corner), the piece is securely inside
the other piece though, box is in good condition too with a break on the
corner of the inside of the box and some minor soiling and wear on the
outside of the box #PU30278 $35.00
