THE HIDE and SEEK DUCK, by Irma Wilde, 1952 first edition, Wonder Books, New York, story about a missing duck and the search for the duck by a girl, a large dog (looks like a Golden Retriever to me), a small dog (a Cairn Terrier) and 3 kittens, 26 pp, hardback, 6 1/2" x 8", good condition with some wear on the corners, spine and  edges, previous owner's name is in pencil on the inside of the cover, a little soiling to a few of the pages, there is some looseness to the pages, but not bad    #SP30055    $8.50....

	GOLDEN RETRIEVER in 1945 GAINES AD, dog might be another breed, but he looks like a Golden in every respect except the dark coat (which is probably just form the photograph), ad itself is whiter looking than my photo, 10" x 13", excellent condition except a tight left margin   #SP27193   $4.00....
click for scan of damage	1964 WATER DOG,  Revolutionary Rapid Training method, with dust jacket,  by Richard Wolters, featuring lots and lots of photos of Tar the black Labrador Retriever, 179 pp, 6 3/4" x 9", you can learn quite a bit about training and spending time with a dog pretty fast with this book even if you are not looking to train your dog as a retriever, fair to poor condition, looks like the last dog trained with this book did not appreciate it much and gnawed the spine and part of both covers away, also got some pages, but all information is there and surprisingly the binding is still solid, this book is not going to fall apart on you, personally I get a kick out of the teeth marks     #SP27174    $5.50 .
