GREYHOUND in 1920 NARDI HABIT MAKER AD, 9 1/2" x 15", n the inside cover of a magazine so it is on thicker paper than most magazine ads,  fine to good condition with small tears along the edges and wear on the corners, also some of the print from the reverse side shows through    #STHD29787    $10.00....

.		 Fictional Story about an IRISH WOLFHOUND and her pup in ADVENTURE, September 30, 1924; story is THE PRICE OF FREEDOM by James P. Long (James Parker Long), 10 page story has one b&w illustration of  dog's head, you get the whole magazine, this magazine was one of the author's personal copies, but I cannot say whether the notation on the cover is the author's; other authors in this volume are Arthur D. Howden Smith, Raymond S. Spears, J. Allen Dunn, John Dorman, Thomson Burtis, Herman Petersen, Thomas Topham, John Webb and George E. Holt; cover illustration by Charles Hargens; magazine is 7" x 10", condition is fair with tight binding but much wear on the cover including edge tears all the way around, notation on cover in ink, the back cover is pretty much missing, about 1 1/2" is missing from the paper at the top of the spine, back pages have bumps on the corners and a few tears     #STHD30160    $7.50....
