close up of clock

1950's (?) ROY ROGERS AND DALE EVANS METAL CLOCK, Gibraltar Oxford self starting mantle / shelf clock, wooden base with separate TRIGGER HORSE FIGURE and ROY ROGERS & DALE EVANS FIGURES incorporated in the clock frame, no place on this clock does it say "Roy Rogers" but the clock is known as "The Roy Rogers & Dale Evans Clock" - must have been something in the company literature, metal is a pot metal with a gold tone finish, base is 19 1/2" long, Trigger is about 10" high off the base, overall FINE condition, clock  does not run correctly (most the time it runs, when it runs it sometimes keeps correct time and sometimes it does not, sometimes it does not run at all), I would estimate the finish to be approximately 80% still present, most of what is missing is from Trigger's head (in reality, his head does not look shiny silver, it is the darker color that old pot metal looks so the difference of where the finish is and is not is not so apparent in reality - my photos exaggerate the difference), there is also some light wear to the finish on Dale's and Roy's heads and more to the back of the clock, wear on the finish of the base     #CC27172    $125.00 as is

LATE 1800's - EARLY 1900's (maybe as late as 1930's) RED BEADED PURSE, with single black bead deliberately sewed into the purse on each side leading me to believe it may be a native American trade piece, but I  do not know much about that area of knowledge, 5 1/2" wide, 8 " long, 9' long including the fringe, red gabardine hand-sewn interior lining, cord pull string, fine condition with 2 strands of the fringe missing and some minor damage to the main part of the purse (I believe all the beads are there), the cord seems to have faded since it is now almost brown    #FS15253    $85.00    NOW $70.00

BEAUTIFUL 1952 ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY ADVERTISING CALENDAR TOP, INDIAN CHANT, outstanding illustration with gorgeous color, the whole thing did not fit on my scanner, there is a tad more on the top and about 1" more on the bottom, 13 1/2" x 13, on light weight cardboard, fine to excellent condition with some wear on the corners, a very dark area on the top right (more than what shows in my scan) and staple holes from where the calendar had been attached about 1/2" from the bottom    #RR28356    $45.00     SOLD

GREAT SPORTING POSTERS OF THE GOLDEN AGE, 1978 LATHAM, SID, Stackpole Books, Harrisburg, First edition, softbound, folio, 11" x 16" Full-color pictorial stiff wrappers, unpaginated, 46 pp, 23 full-color framable posters, 3 posters by Philip R. Goodwin, 1 by Frank Schoonover, 1 by G. Rungius, and others,  posters are reproduced from  Winchester, Savage, Ithaca Gun, Bristol Rods, Abercrombie & Fitch, DuPont, Remington, Colt, L. L. Bean, Pflueger, Marlin, and others, many wild life scenes including ducks, fish and bear, 5 posters with dogs (hounds and setters), a few cowboy scenes, excellent condition with very slight wear on the edges and corners of the cover    #HU30071    $220.00 ....

WENONA, EARLY 1900's (PROBABLY 1910's) INDIAN MAIDEN CALENDAR TOP, great color, 5 1/2" X 12" print attached to 6 1/2" x 14 1/2" light card background paper, calendar section has been ripped off the calendar top, print is in good condition with a pinkish spot on the purple of the mountain -- this was a printing error, not post-production damage,  also the print has a few nicks out of the right side, calendar backing is in fair condition with a  tear on the bottom border from when the bottom of the calendar was ripped off, overall, a great looking print   #NA30888    $32.00  ....

OLD 1940's BUFFALO APPLES CRATE LABEL,  9 1/4" X 10", California State, near mint condition    #LB25531    Quantity - 4    $10.00 each

GUNSMOKE (RCA VICTOR WBV-76) 45 RPM RECORD SLEEVE BY THE PRAIRIE CHIEFS, "Whoopee -Ti-Yi-Yo" on the B side, GREAT SLEEVE GRAPHICS, sleeve is in very good condition with wear on the top edge area and the corners, the record is inside the sleeve, but  there is a crack in the record    #MU28839    $10.00 ....

PEDRITE, A NAVAJO YOUTH, 1907 bookplate, sepia tone, beautiful depth to the art or the printing, plate 6 1/2 x 9 1/2, printed area is 5 x 7 1/4", excellent condition with a few stray marks from the printing process  #NAM28360    $20.00

SMALL 1920's ART DECO INDIAN MAIDEN PRINT in Art Deco frame, printing on the print is not as exact as in larger prints but I think that is because the print is so small - it was part of a page of printer's samples, 2 1/4" x 3" print, exterior edges of the frame - 3" x 3 3/4", excellent condition    #PR29044    $14.00

1940's BRONCO CRATE LABEL WITH COWBOY ON A HORSE, Redlands Foothills Groves, Redlands, California (CA), 10 3/4" x 9 7/8", near mint condition     #LB29131    $8.50

.

PUEBLOS in 1930 SANTA FE RAILWAY AD, gorgeous color, looks like the illustration was done by Villa, 6" x 9", excellent condition with some light wear on the corners    #NA30536    $12.00 .....
