ART DECO AD "SUNSPOTS" WITH FLAPPER, not certain what is being advertised,
this was the back cover of a magazine, 9 1/2" x 14 1/2", good condition
with light soiling from being the back of the magazine and a small tear
on the top edge, wear on the corners and edges #DC29163

1920's
- 30's ART DECO SILVER AND BLACK REVERSE PAINTED FRAME, 6" x 8" with
a 3 1/2" x 5 1/4" picture opening (space in the back of the frame to put
the picture is 4" x 6"), very good condition with some light scratching
on the chome frame, there is some irregularity in the silver paint (kind
of like a swirling on the top margin) but while it is there, it is not
a great detraction, I did not bother to wash the glass before I photographed
it, that is why there are all the spots, back and easel are in excellent

1920's
- 30's ART DECO SILVER AND BLACK REVERSE PAINTED FRAME, 5" x 6" with
a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" picture opening (space in the back of the frame to put
the picture is 3" x 4"), the black is reverse painted but he silver
has a texture, so I am pretty certan that the silver is cardboard, very
good condition with some light scratching on the chome frame front and
quite a bit of rust on the right side of the frame (does not show up fron
the front but is decidedly a detraction form the side), there is
a light bend in the top right corner of the chrome frame, the back and
easel are in excellent condition DC31110

40's REVERSE PAINTED ART DECO SILHOUETTE PICTURE WITH FOIL, "WHISTLER'S
MOTHER", background is in cream, silhouette is black with silver
and pink foil showing through, frame is cream with antiquing highlights
on the art deco decoration, back has an NRA sticker with reference to the
frame molding (I don't know what that means), backing board has a stamp
"ABT PUB. Co.", 5" x 7", picture is in near mint condition but the frame
has considerable wear on the color #PCT27164

excellent condition with some stray marks from the printing process and
some bumping on the top margin from being in a magazine that was used

ZANADU FACE POWDER IN BRASS CONTAINER, unused, top (factory paint) colored
a deep rose/fuchsia color, art deco woman decoration embossed into the
metal, interior membrane unbroken, 2 7/8" in diameter by 1 5/8" deep,
excellent condition, minor scratching to the cover, more scratching on
the unpainted brass bottom, a slight breakdown of the color on close inspection
(the fuchsia looks like it is a pink and a blue combined)

VILLAGE, 1920'S TAPESTRY PICTURE OF SMALL BOATS IN AN ART DECO BLUE
AND GOLD FRAME, inside measurement of 7" x 10", has original backing paper
with sticker reading "La France Art Company", tapestry is in mint-near
mint condition, frame has some wear on the gold color, backing paper has
some tears, but it has never been opened enough to remove the picture from

this had an advertising calendar attached to the bottom, the background
reverse painted part is burgandy, the landscape and the woman and horse
pictures are prints with the reverse painted part acting like a matte,
there is gold foil decoration around the edges, the frame is gold-tone
metal, 8" x 5", excellent condition outside of the missing calendar
