EMBOSSED CALENDAR TOP ILLUSTRATION WITH EDMUND OSTHAUS ILLUSTRATION OF
ENGLISH SETTERS, (marked 4703), embossed print is affixed onto cardboard
that once had the calendar on the bottom, good to very good condition with
some wear on the corners of the cardboard, a nick out of the bottom left
corner of the print and the original gluing causing some puckering at the
top of the print #SP29814 $15.00..

1940's
PRINT OF COVERED BRIDGE AND ENGLISH SETTER (Setter is very small), print
has been glued to an old piece of cardboard that used to be a calendar,
print is 10 1/2" x 7 1/2", good condition, there is foxing on the
cardboard from paste, there is either some crinkling from the glue under
the print or some glue has gotten on the top of the print, it is really
only visible when you hold the print to light so it does not detract much

"HONORS EVEN" BRISTOL AD BY EDWIN MEGARGEE, showing an English Setter and
an Irish Setter, ad is for Bristol's polycycline antibiotic ad, 6" x 9",
for the drug is also on the reverse, fine condition with stains on bottom
left corner and top right corner, both can be matted, cropped or framed
out and still have a nice size margin. However, the margin at the
top of the page is extremely tight, it will be difficult to not to lose

then a sample calendar with only the January 1956 page (that is all there
ever was), illustrated area is 13 1/2" x 11", total calendar sample (including
the illustration) 13 1/2" x 21", illustrated area is in near mint condition,
the bottom section of the sample has a few bent areas

1950's "NEW NEIGHBORS"
PRINT with ENGLISH SETTER PUPPY and GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG PUPPY, looks
like a Brittany spaniel, Clumber Spaniel or Springer Spaniel puppy, 8 1/4"
x 4", excellent condition with some glue on the back that does not effect
the front, the publisher's identifying number is cut off

1930's
- 40's (maybe earlier) print of TWO ENGLISH SETTERS, I do not know if this
was a calendar top or a magazine page or what, it is glued onto a scrapbook
page (and with another print glued on to the reverse of the scrapbook page,
it has a nice thickness), no darkening from the glue and the page is very
smooth, 11" x 8", excellent condition with some tiny shininess on the corners
from the glue which would be covered by a frame lip or a matte
