FRAMED
1955 PRINT OF GORGEOUS GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG (GSD), titled "Portrait", this
print is from Diane Thorne's book of dog sketches Dogs, the print
is not matted, it looks to be dry-mounted on black board, and sealed in
a period frame, the frame is an off-white wooden frame, print is 10 1/4"
x 13 1/2", inside frame is 15" x 18", outside frame is 15 3/4" x 18 3/4",
excellent to fine condition, there is the remnants of a crease on the left
side of the print, this is very difficult to see because the print is dry-mounted,
there is no left margin because that was how it was printed in the book

1943
GAINES U. S. ARMY W.W.II WAR DOG AD with German Shepherd Police Dog, "USED
BY THE U. S. ARMY". (I
think is rather an ironic choice of words for a caption, don't you?), bottom
shows Malemutes, Huskies or Samoyeds behind a wheeled vehicle, "Choice
of the U. S. Antarctic Expedition", the reverse side has a Mr. Fala cartoon,
5 1/2" X 13 1/2" excellent condition, the black is denser on this page
than on most and it looks great, the right side is a bit wavy, but not
as much as shows on the scan

- '70's PORCELAIN GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG OVAL BROOCH, gold tone metal setting,

when pinned - it is just my photo that has the head slightly askew, excellent
condition with some minor scratching on the back of the pin

1920's - 1930's
PRINT OF A PRETTY WOMAN AND A YOUNG GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG, might be a Chromolithograph
as even with a magnifying glass the dots do not look to be in a matrix
pattern but the dots are small so I cannot be certain; 14" x 18", in a
plain wooden frame, print is in fine condition with some misprints here
and there leaving a small white dot in the sky a dark spot on her neck
and several other small anomalies; there seems to be some light foxing
(discoloration due to age) on the sky on the left and there are a few small
pieces of loose debris under the glass (as it has its original backing
paper intact I did not want to open it up to clean -- but you may do so),
the frame has overall wear with more at the corners and on the top, this
picture sounds worse than it looks, this picture actually looks great

BEAUTIFUL
VINTAGE (I think 1950's) GLADYS EMERSON COOK PRINT OF A GERMAN SHEPHERD
DOG, 12" x 16" standard size, fine condition with a bumping of the top
right corner, also a slight lightening of the background color along the
right edge in the top area (the slight lightening is not as prominent as
it came out in the photo, it is much more subtle), these difficulties can
be matted, cropped or framed out, the PRINT STILL LOOKS GREAT!
