Zoe Mozert illustration

SEPTEMBER 1939 TRUE CONFESSIONS MAGAZINE WITH ZOE MOZERT COVER, also with a Zoe Mozert illustrated Irresistible perfume ad on the inside of the cover. condition is good - there are a three marks on the illustration (I think they are pencil, but I didn't want to try to erase them for fear of taking off the color), a squiggle in pencil next to the "True", there are small tears around the edge and one larger one going through the "H" at the top into the very top of the "t" in "True", there is a light crease in the cover page which really doesn't show up on the cover, but which shows up on the Irresistible ad on the back of the front cover; the back and the spine show wear.    #TC9-39    $20.00

PARTING OF THE WAYS, 1950's PRINT OF BOY AND BUFF COCKER SPANIEL MOM MOURNING THE SHIPPING OF A PUPPY BY COLLECTIBLE ILLUSTRATOR FRANCES TIPTON HUNTER, SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFT except it is a vertical picture with more space on the top and the bottom of the picture (showing school books),  8" x 10", rough condition with a crease all the way through the right side of the print including through the door and the Mom dog, also crinkling along the top of the print from where it was pasted onto something, if you remove the crinkled part (which is just house and door anyway) then the print will be 8" x 9", but you still cannot do anything to eliminate the crease    #Ci28769bf    $4.00 .   SOLD

PARTING OF THE WAYS, 1950's PRINT / CALENDAR SAMPLE OF BOY AND BUFF COCKER SPANIEL MOM MOURNING THE SHIPPING OF A PUPPY BY COLLECTIBLE ILLUSTRATOR FRANCES TIPTON HUNTER, SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFT except it is a vertical picture with more space on the top and the bottom of the picture (showing school books), glossy finish,  illustrated area is 12" x 13 1/2" including a small margin, also there is an area above the illustrated part if the print intended for an advertiser's name --- in total the print is 12" x 16 1/2", excellent condition with only a light printing area that puts a dark line through the box that is supposed to be for the advertiser's name     #Ci28769cf    $32.00 .   SOLD

SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFT except it is a vertical picture with more space on the top and the bottom of the picture (showing school books),  16" x 18 1/2", I think this  was a calendar sample top, the bottom of the print says "16 x 33", some area has definitely been cut off the top, fair to good condition with  some roughness around the edges including a 1/2 tear on the left side of the print that should disappear under the lip of a frame (depends on the depth of the frame lip though), some crinkling and other signs of handling    #Ci28769df    $32.00 .

PARTING OF THE WAYS, 1950's PRINT / CALENDAR TOP OF BOY AND BUFF COCKER SPANIEL MOM MOURNING THE SHIPPING OF A PUPPY BY COLLECTIBLE ILLUSTRATOR FRANCES TIPTON HUNTER, SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFT except it has more to the left and right and the bottom of the picture (showing school books), glossy finish,  this was a calendar top that someone cut off not too straight, but i figure it will be 14" x 10" when the edges are trimmed evenly, I do not want to do this because it MIGHT fit into a standard 14" x 11" frame if the lip of the frame is large enough , very good condition with a couple of creases from pressure points     #Ci28769gf    $30.00 .

1950's PRINT OF SPANIEL TYPE DOG TRYING TO GET BOY  TO PLAY BALL AS HE CONFRONTS A SINK FULL OF DIRTY DISHES, SIMILAR TO THE PRINT ON THE LEFT, but it is a horizontal picture instead and only shows from the top of the boy's head to the bottom of the dogs feet and then has more on the sides, by Frances Tipton Hunter, 6 7/8" x  4 3/8", NOS (unused old stock) in fine to very good condition with a darkness around his face that looks like it is a printing error but everyone of these I have ever had has had the same thing, #Ci28793    $12.00 ..

SAME AS ABOVE, on light cardboard calendar sample top, print is 6 7/8" x 4 1/2", calendar cardboard is 6 3/4 x 8 3/4", good to fair condition with roughness on the top edge of the calendar cardboard and a dark area on the top of the cardboard, the hole for the calendar to hang goes through the top of the print area;  if you matte to eliminate the hang hole, you will lose most of the Conservation Officer's hat as shown in the scan at the left    HU28755af   $14.00 .

TROUBLE BREWING, 1950's PRINT / CALENDAR SAMPLE BY COLLECTIBLE ILLUSTRATOR FRANCES TIPTON HUNTER, SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFTexcept it is a vertical picture with more space on the top and the bottom of the picture, also showing more of the Conservation Officer on the left, glossy finish, illustrated area is 12" x 13 1/2" including a small margin, also there is an area above the illustrated part of the print intended for an advertiser's name --- in total the print is 12" x 16 1/2", excellent condition     #HU28755ff    $32.00 .

SIMILAR TO ABOVE (image #HU28755ff) but shows more of the Conservation Officer, very large with attached January 1956 one page calendar sample, image is 21" x 24" and then there is a border around the image and the calendar sample on the bottom, the whole sheet is 28" x 46", although the back of the sample says it is 29 1/2" x 45 1/2" (Maybe since this is a sample, the measurement is for the calendars being promoted???...); image is great but it was folded by the company into 8ths, not only are there creases where the folds are, but there is also wear where the folds are;  there is also crinkling around the corners of the folds (which means there is crinkling in the middle of the image and the middle of the calendar) and there is a small hole in the water area of the print where 2 of the folds come together; the reverse side of the print is dirty but that does not effect the image at all; overall, I would say the condition is fair but the image still looks great     #HU28755gf    $32.00 .

SIMILAR TO SCAN ON THE LEFT except it is a vertical picture with more space on the top and the bottom of the picture, sample calendar with one page of calendar for 1956,  illustrated area is 11" x 14" the whole calendar sample is 11 x 23 1/4", under the illustrated area "YOUR ADVERTISEMENT" is printed along with other selling points and the one-page calendar sample, excellent condition      #Ci28769hf    $32.00 .
